This is where I paint. I share the room with my husband's guitars and other music things. As you can see, I'm not the tidiest person around (I actually just tidied the place before taking the photo, hehe), and I often have to look for things in a hurry because the paint is drying and I don't remember where I put just the thing I need. There are some inspirational pictures taped to the shelf (solar flares and naked ladies), and some unfinished paintings that wait for that special inspiration (including my collab with *theSpiralmeister) to come along. On top of the shelf there is a painting by ~Ra-bird.
Oh yeah, this photo is for "Workspace Week": "this week, starting today (monday january 21) and lasting for a week, we're starting a new event--take a photo of your work space and link it to *theSpiralmeister or *essencestudios. at the beginning of the following week, we'll have a big feature.
messy or not, impressive or not, fun or utilitarian, a tiny corner or a spacious studio, we all want to see it! it's so much easier to picture people working or being online if we can see where you work!
hey kristiina! i think it looks cozy and comfy. it looks like an artist works there! thank you so much for participating! i like it. wow, i just noticed, you have a lot of white jars on the shelf, that's what my acrylic mediums look like. is that what they are? or paint?
Hello there! I'm really excited about the workspace week. I'm so curious to see where other people create their art. The white jars are indeed acrylic mediums, here's a close-up photo: [link]
